Wreckin’ Decks N’ Gettin’ Sex
Feb 9th
DJ Toaster is back! I’ve been focusing on my live sets more heavily in the last year, so I took a bit of a break from making albums. My newest mix, “Wreckin’ Decks N’ Gettin’ Sex” is full of filthy electro house smashes as well as 1 a.m. dance floor anthems strung together at a feverous pace. Santogold, LCD Soundsystem, Smashing Pumpklins, Usher, Basshunter, and tons more.
As for the name, it’s a reference to a “Law & Order – SVU” episode. It’s DJ Dizzer’s life motto! I’d say it’s a pretty good motto to follow
A Night Out
Feb 8th

My recent effort to make as bangin’ of a 50 minute mix as possible. “A Night Out” contains samples from over 70 different tracks remixed, mashed up, and presented to you at such an insane pace that you never have time to get tired of one thing. Constantly changing genres, styles, and tempo, this mix is a perfect one to fill the dance floor at any event or just to listen to if you’re in the mood for some excellent dance music. I worked on this mix throughout the first few months of 2008.
The Dance Party Megamix: Part 2
Feb 8th
A Fast paced, bangin hip-hop and electro mash-up mix. Contains 30 or so tracks mixed and remixed together in a nonstop frenzy of dance insanity. Another perfect mix to throw on if you want to fill up the dance floor, this mix is fairly similar sylisticially to “A Night Out,” but contains for the most part a bit more dated music and classics. I made this one in the last few months of 2007.
Electro
Feb 8th

This is a more traditional mix from 2007 with mostly full length tracks and not as much manipulation by me. “Electro” outlines the recent craze in house music to go back to it’s roots in distorted synth riffs, NES style bleeps and bloops, and hard hitting beats that will keep you dancing long into the night. 10 songs and :40, it’s the shortest mix up here, and also one of my favorites that I’ve ever made. Contains songs and remixes by Daft Punk, Justice, Eric Prydz, Starkillers, and more.
The Dance Party Megamix
Feb 8th
Originally released n 2006, this was a different kind of mix for me. Instead of playing the duration of 15 or so songs, I took all of the crowd favorites from almost every party I’d Djed at, and compiled them into one long megamix. It’s an hour and 15 minutes long, and has almost 40 songs (albeit short bits of many of them). This was a real challenge to make, and I wasvery happy with how it turned out. Contains songs by almost any dance artist you can think of. Check this one out
