Myself, my sister, and my father at Mt. Rainer National Park.

Hi, I’m Angelo. I’m currently a junior Journalism major at Seattle University in the great state of Washington. I love it here and don’t plan on leaving (Seattle) for a while :)

I love pasta, sour patch kids, fast cars, college football, computers, music, and sans-serif fonts. I use a Canon Powershot S3 IS for my pictures, a Canon HV20 for shooting video, and Traktor DJ Studio and Ableton Live to mix music. I’m a dedicated Apple user, doing most of my work on a MacBook and a 20″ iMac. I am currently employed as a student assistant at Seattle University’s Faculty Media Lab, and as the Online Editor for SU’s student newspaper, The Spectator.

At the media lab I work with faculty doing media projects such as video conversion and scanning, and also do some training in how to use common media apps, and support for the ANGEL course management system that faculty can use at SU.

As the online editor at The Spectator I do a variety of things, including writing for the print edition of the paper, keeping the website for the paper up to date, managing our blog, and creating weekly video content for the main website. I also participate in all of the editorial board meetings and work out the general issues of the paper with my fellow editors.

I’m also an experienced DJ, and have been filling dance floors for years now. I bring an eclectic mix of house, electronica, indie and hip hop to my sets, and also work on the production end of things creating polished mix albums on my computer and working with artists such as Bra Strapz and David Kanaga.
